This role is for an experienced System Safety Engineer with a focus on aviation safety. The ideal candidate will lead system safety assessments for cutting-edge Avionics and Power products.
What You’ll Do:
* Lead and execute system safety assessments across diverse projects.
* Conduct detailed safety analyses, including Fault Tree and Common Mode Analysis.
* Develop safety requirements to influence design improvements.
* Mentor and guide team members while promoting a strong safety culture.
* Present to senior stakeholders and contribute to strategic decision-making.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
* Expertise in aviation safety, with knowledge of civil certification requirements (e.g., 14CFR-25, CS-25).
* Experience with safety analysis techniques (SAE ARP4761, MIL-STD-882, DEF STAN 00-56).
* Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Knowledge of ARP 4754, DO-178B/C, DO-254.
* Experience in reliability analysis (FMEA, predictions).
* Familiarity with regulatory compliance processes.
