Undertake and document a comprehensive and accurate nursing assessment and triage or the physical and social needs of the patient. Creates and utilises opportunities to promote health and well-being of patients in their care Influence and monitor standards of direct patient care delivery in accordance with best practice and operational protocols and guidelines Leads a paediatric team through the shift Promote good working relationships with the nursing teams, providing appropriate advice and support. To have responsibility for the security and maintenance of equipment belonging to the Emergency Department Facilitate the development of standards of care and assist with the implementation of appropriate monitoring techniques Deputise for the Paediatric Lead Nurse in there absence.
