Join Our Team as a Senior Support Worker
Location: Tadley, Hampshire
Salary: £13.20 per hour (£25,740 pro-rata) plus benefits.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, shifts vary between 7:00 am and 10:00 pm, Monday to Sunday (on a shift rota basis).
Contract: Full-time, Permanent.
Driving Requirement: A valid full UK manual driving license is preferable.
Right to Work: Applicants must have the right to work in the UK. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer any skilled worker visas.
Essential Criteria
To be considered for this position, you will demonstrate exposure to the following areas of expertise:
1. Mental Health
2. Complex Health Needs
3. Autism and Learning Disabilities
4. Administering Medications
You will have a QCF in Health & Social Care Level 2 Diploma (or equivalent) with willingness to undertake a level 3 in Health & Social Care and demonstrate reasonable knowledge of regulatory standards for supported/residential living.

What will you be doing?
As a Senior Support Worker, you'll be more than just their support - you'll be a key part of someone's journey towards living their best life. Here's what you'll be doing:
1. Daily Care & Support: Helping with personal care, meal preparation, medication, and other daily tasks.
2. Building Relationships: Getting to know the people you support, understanding their needs, and helping them live life on their own terms.
3. Empowering Independence: Assisting with personal goals, from daily activities to long-term aspirations, and encouraging creative exploration.
4. Social Engagement: Supporting activities like holidays, social events, and hobbies, ensuring everyone could enjoy what they love doing.
5. Respect & Dignity: Ensuring that the individuals and their families are treated with the utmost respect, dignity, and equality.
Who you will be Supporting?
Fir Tree Lodge is a residential home for adults with learning and other disabilities, many of whom also have sight loss. Our residents at Fir Tree Lodge are very active and love going out and about in the community.
Some of the things they love to do are music therapy, arts and crafts, swimming, and spending time in the accessible garden.
