Our client is an industrial processing business. They are looking for a proactive and driven hands-on maintenance to lead & develop their engineering team.
Role & Responsibilities:
* Be a hands-on manager, leading from the front
* Managing a team of X5 people
* Provide engineers with training & development plans
* PPM planning, strategic workload allocation, project management
* Creating SSoW, RAMS, RTW's, continuous improvement plans
* Monitor and manage KPi's, budget targets, engineering compliance, health & safety
* Staff performance reviews, disciplinaries, appraisals, holiday management, sickness
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
* Must be a maintenance engineer with mechanical and electrical experience
* Happy to be a hands-on manager
* Qualified to HNC / HND level ideally
* Must have worked in some form of high-speed/volume manufacturing environment
* Knowledge of Health & Safety, continuous improvements, KPi performance management
* Experienced in creating SSoW (Safe Systems of Work), new procedures, SOP's
* Financial control & budget monitoring experience
* Beneficial to have IOSH / NEBOSH Health & Safety
* Strong and effective communicator
