We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic and motivated AHP or nurse (adult or paediatric) preferably with research experience, who takes pride and ownership in delivering high quality patient centred care, to lead the delivery of our education and clinical skills programmes for the staff within Southampton Research.

Job responsibilities
The role is to ensure the quality of practice learning environments and to propose interventions for improvement for all types of learners including our apprentices and student learners from HEIs.
The role also entails developing, delivering and evaluating the education delivery across the area of specialism and more broadly considering trust and CRF / R&D objectives.
As experts in the relevant field, the role also supports the delivery of high quality care to our patients and service users. This role is supported by the Lead Clinical Educator.

Qualifications, knowledge and experience
Essential
1. Professional requirements e.g. Registered Nurse or Registered Professional.
2. Mentoring / coaching / education qualification to postgraduate diploma level or equivalent evidence of supporting learners in practice.
3. Evidence of ongoing professional development
4. Experience of educating others in a formal or informal setting
Desirable
1. Education at a master's degree level
2. Further education at a master's degree level in relevant practice area
3. Leadership qualification or significant equivalent experience
4. Previous Band 6 experience
