Driven by creativity and innovation, we are seeking a dedicated Packaging and Product Artworker to join our Product team. You will play a key role in ensuring the flawless execution of artwork and packaging designs for our products. Whilst a 'creative eye' is required for this role, precision and consistency are crucial.
You'll work closely with the Design and Packaging, Compliance and NPD teams, to deliver high-quality labels, packaging layouts, and artwork that meet our exacting standards.
Artwork Creation & Labeling:Implement and refine product label designs, ensuring consistency and precision across large volumes of work.
Packaging Layouts: Apply artwork to cutter guides and packaging templates, ensuring designs fit perfectly within technical specifications.
Colour Management: Match artwork colours to Pantone and other brand guidelines, ensuring the best possible output across different printing processes and materials.
Print Preparation: Prepare files for print, ensuring all specifications are correct and aligned with various printing techniques (digital, offset, screen, etc.).
Quality Control: Ensure all designs meet the high standards of quality, precision, and consistency required by The GelBottle Inc.
Liaise with suppliers: you’ll be responsible to liaise with our packaging and label suppliers, ensuring print ready files are created, read proof, and shared with them ahead of print proof and bulk production.
About you:
You'll have proven design experience within a fast-paced environment (essential), and work independently to manage workloads, interpreting briefs and proactively asking questions to ensure accuracy. For this role, we think you'll need:
* Colour Theory: A solid understanding and know how to implement it in print. Experience working with Pantone and other industry-standard colour matching systems.
* Attention to Detail: Strong eye for detail with the ability to identify and correct design inconsistencies or errors.
* Print Knowledge: Deep understanding of printing techniques, colour theory, and how to achieve optimal results when printing on different materials and outputs.
* Team Collaboration: Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset, able to work well within a team and across departments.
* Industry Experience: Passionate about the nail industry and experience working on product packaging for other beauty or cosmetics brands.
This role is hybrid, 3-4 days a week onsite at our Brighton HQ.
