Southern Ropes is on the lookout for a dedicated Administrative Assistant to support our expanding Rope Supplier company. What You'll Be Doing:
1. Providing efficient and reliable administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations.
2. Handling customer communications with an excellent telephone manner, responding to enquiries, and directing calls professionally.
3. Processing orders efficiently, creating invoices, delivery notes, and booking shipments.
4. Monitoring incoming emails, ensuring timely order processing, and directing enquiries for quoting.
5. Managing customer enquiries, taking orders, and following up on quotations while maintaining accurate records.
6. Utilizing Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) to manage documentation and workflow effectively.
7. Experience with Accounting and stock control systems is a plus (training provided if needed!).
8. Maintaining strong organizational skills, working independently with a keen eye for detail.
9. Collaborating with the team to ensure smooth office operations, assisting when required.
10. Managing office and staff kitchen supplies to keep the workplace running efficiently.
11. Keeping accurate sales records, quality control documentation, and filing systems up to date.
12. Occasionally assisting with light warehouse duties and stock-taking to support the broader team.
13. Keeping track of weekly team meetings, taking notes, and circulating updates within the team.
14. Office working hours will be from 8:30am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday.

3. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly across different teams.
4. Experience in administration, order processing, and customer service is preferred.
5. Confidence in using Microsoft Office; additional experience with accounting or stock control systems is a bonus!
