Town Planner
Salary: £28,000 - £32,000
Location: Oxford (5 days per week, with 2 days WFH flexibility)
Experience: 1-3 years
We are seeking a motivated Town Planner to join our client's dynamic and collaborative team in Oxford. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with 1-3 years of experience in town planning who's looking to contribute to exciting projects across a multidisciplinary environment that includes urban designers and architects.
About the Role:
In this role, you'll work closely with a small, focused planning team of two and will collaborate across departments to deliver thoughtful, sustainable, and effective planning solutions. You'll engage in a range of planning tasks, from research and analysis to liaising with clients, authorities, and consultants.
Key Responsibilities:
·Conduct site appraisals, feasibility studies, and prepare planning applications
·Support senior planners on complex applications and strategic projects
·Liaise with local authorities, clients, and other stakeholders
·Work collaboratively with architects, urban designers, and external consultants
What We're Looking For:
·1-3 years of experience in town planning, preferably within a consultancy environment
·A relevant degree in Town Planning or a related field
·Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
·Experience with local planning policies and regulations
