We have an opportunity for a booking and scheduling clerk within the Gastroenterology Service based at NMGH. We are looking for a dynamic individual who can provide a first-class service to the patients in Gastroenterology at North Manchester General Hospital.
The successful applicant will need to have a keen eye for detail, work well under stress and be able to adapt to an ever-changing priority workload. The role is fast-paced and excellent organisational skills are essential. You must be confident and work well on your own and also alongside our friendly, hard-working and fun team.

The post holder will be responsible for providing an efficient and high quality service in the management of booking and scheduling waiting lists, ensuring that key access standards are met in line with the requirements of the Trust access policy.
Responsible for providing efficient and high quality administrative support.
Adding patients to a waiting list ensuring patients are on the correct pathways, validating this and amending as necessary.
Recording patient cancellations and DNAs ( Did not Attends)
Liaising with consultants with regards to additions to clinics and clinic changes.
Using other systems such as ERS to manage referrals in a timely manner.
