Electrical appointed person Location - Southampton Rate - Competitive Duration - up to a year rolling contract My client is a tier one contractor looking for an electrical appointed person who has worked on highways/motorways. Responsibilities: Track & Identify any chartered /unchartered services within works area Disconnection / Isolation of circuits Issue relevant documentation (Dynamic RAMS ,PTW ,Isolation & Re-energising Certificates) Update Live Tracker drawings Liaise with Project Technology Lead Attend weekly meeting with Programme updates Where unchartered / unknown services are discovered Identify, Verify, cut & remove (update drawings) Assist with redundant cable removal from Network Reinstate disconnected or newly installed cabling Terminate & Test cabling issue Re-energisation documents, Test certificates. Requirements: Must hold Valid HERS Electricians card Must have validated experience in undertaking Testing & Inspection on National Highways Schemes. Must have a good understanding of Line / As fitted drawings Must have good understanding of Schematic drawings of Technology assets Must have good understanding of PAS 128 and the stages needed to be confirmed, before works commence Must have experience with writing Dynamic RA, Activity Plans & PTW. Must Hold A NH Passport Must Hold a Full UK Driving Licence Must be able to work under own supervision & to supervise the locations where other contractors will be involved.
