Are you an experienced Event Manager? If so, we’d love to hear from you! At BOAT International Media, we’re looking for a talented professional to join our dynamic events team and contribute to delivering world-class international events that set the standard in luxury experiences.
About the Role
As an Event Manager, you’ll lead projects within our events portfolio, creating innovative, bespoke events that bring together the elite of the superyacht industry. You’ll play a key role in planning, executing, and evaluating events that exceed expectations, delight our audiences, and meet the needs of our sponsors and partners. From high-level networking opportunities to exclusive experiences, you’ll ensure every detail is perfect.
What You’ll Do
* Lead the end-to-end planning and delivery of events, from initial concepts to post-event analysis.
* Manage event budgets, including forecasting, cost control, and reconciliation.
* Collaborate with suppliers, sponsors, and partners to deliver exceptional events.
* Develop compelling marketing campaigns to boost audience engagement and ticket sales.
* Liaise with senior industry figures, including yacht owners, designers, and brokers.
* Ensure all events comply with health and safety standards and legal regulations.
* Support the team with logistical arrangements, including travel, branding, and accommodation.
* Mentor and motivate junior team members.
What You’ll Need
* A motivated and experienced Event Manager with a proven track record in delivering outstanding events.
* Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal, with a customer-focused mindset.
* Proficiency in budgeting, financial processes, and Microsoft Office.
* Knowledge of digital marketing tools (e.g., HTML, Aventri, Salesforce) is an advantage.
* A proactive, can-do attitude with the resilience to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Willingness to travel internationally and work occasional weekends or bank holidays.

Summary of Employee Benefits
* Annual leave - Full-time benefit is 33 days per year (25 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays). The Company also offers up to an additional 3 days of paid time off during the Christmas office closure period.
* You will also receive your birthday off or the following day each year, provided it falls on a weekday.
