Who You Are:
You are a strong Commercial Lines Account Executive with a passion for providing customer-centric care. You are outward facing and excel in New Business Sales, with a proven track record for exceeding your goals. You are adaptable and are a Trusted Advisor for your clients. You have a minimum of 5 or more years of insurance experience and working knowledge and commitment for doing the best for your clients. This role will be seeking new business opportunities while also maintaining relationships with existing clients. The Account Executive will be primarily responsible for prospecting, networking, and producing new property and casualty business insurance policies and accounts as well as the renewal retention of existing accounts.

Duties include:
1. Generate leads and pursue new client opportunities.
2. Develop strong COIs and network to develop new business opportunities.
3. Complete and review the large client survey to gather all pertinent information.
4. Develop and maintain active expiration lists through internal and external sources.
5. Achieve trusted advisor status with clients and provide professional risk management advice.
6. Maintain and foster strong business-to-business relationships.
7. Maximize growth and retention by providing exceptional customer service to clients.
8. Round accounts where applicable.
9. Ensure timely premium payment and manage collections for assigned accounts.
10. Conduct policy reviews at renewal to address coverage gaps.
11. Obtain information for quotes and work with the marketing team to obtain quotes from the insurance marketplace.
12. Provide input on renewal premium negotiations with the Account Management team.
13. Prepare proposals and present to prospects.
14. Set renewal timeline and complete pre-underwriting and information gathering.
15. Conduct proposal meetings with clients.
16. Utilize company systems as applicable; Sagitta, ImageRight, Helix.
17. Develop accounts and cross-sell available products and services.
Requirements:
1. Fluency in MS Office products.
2. Effective, professional verbal and technical written communication skills.
3. Superior sales and networking skills.
4. Proven track record of success in high activity sales model.
5. Good listener with a strong work ethic.
6. Proven analytical skills.
7. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage a book of business.
8. Self-starter with an entrepreneurial approach.
9. Willingness to work outside of core hours as needed.
10. Ability to multitask in an ever-changing environment.
11. Ability to communicate clearly and manage time effectively.
12. Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
13. 5+ years’ sales experience, preferably in Insurance; commercial property and casualty or related business-to-business sales experience.
14. CIC, CPCU, AAI, AIS designations preferred.
15. Producer license is Mandatory.
16. Willingness to continue education is essential.
