Salary £23,000 to £25,000 per annum
We are working with a very well-established Legal 500-listed, Lexcel and CQS accredited multi-office regional law firm, who are seeking an experienced Conveyancing Legal Secretary or a Conveyancing Legal Assistant to join their busy Property Team based in Coventry city centre.
This is a full time, office-based, position working Monday-Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm with an hour for lunch.
The successful candidate will assist Fee Earners with a range of administrative tasks to support the Conveyancing process.
The role will involve:
1. Providing support to the Residential Conveyancing Team
2. Undertaking document preparation, typing and administration work
3. Scanning post and allocating to fee earners electronically
4. Assisting in maintaining client files
5. Providing Conveyancing quotes
6. Opening new files
7. Progressing files through to post-completion, file closing and archiving
8. Dealing with client enquiries and queries over the telephone and in person
9. Providing updates to clients and estate agents
10. Updating files on a Legal Case Management System
Suitable Candidates will have:
1. Experience of working in a law firm, supporting a conveyancing team
2. Excellent client care and communication skills
3. Good organisational skills, with attention to detail
4. Ability to work well as part of a team
5. Experience of using MS office - Word, Excel, Outlook
6. Experience of using a legal case management system
This is a full time, office based permanent job, working 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday (35 hours per week)
