Finance Claims Analyst (Shared Rural Network)

We are looking for a Finance Claims Analyst (Shared Rural Network) to join our busy Team. Be at the heart of the SRN programme, ensuring accuracy and the seamless processing of Grant Claims for approximately 240 sites. This dynamic role involves managing around 600 capex claims and up to 4,000 opex claims, ensuring timely and accurate submission to Building Digital UK (BDUK) and smooth distribution back to Mobile Network Operators (MNOs).
Responsibilities:
* Grant Management: Lead the full Grant Claim process, from verifying invoices to submission and payment coordination.
* Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Finance and SRN Project Managers, ensuring every detail aligns perfectly.
* Accuracy Focused: Maintain precise claim trackers, raise POs, and facilitate timely payments.
* Stakeholder Relations: Foster strong relationships with MNO Finance Leads and present progress at high-level meetings.
* Reporting Excellence: Deliver regular, impactful reports internally to the Finance Board and externally to MNOs/Government committees.
Qualifications:
* Exceptional organisational skills, juggling multiple workstreams while driving results.
* A solid grasp of financial processes (e.g., accruals, liabilities, depreciation).
* Expertise in Microsoft Excel, with bonus points for familiarity with Google Docs and Sheets.
* Top-notch communication skills, transforming complex technical subjects into clear, engaging dialogue.
* Telecoms knowledge, particularly in mobile network deployment (preferred).
* Experience with Sage accounting software (preferred).
