I currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Civil Structural Engineer to join an extremely reputable, successful and growing business where your achievements and commitment will be appreciated and rewarded.
With multiple offices across the UK, this client is a innovative, forward thinking Civil, Structural and Geotechnical Engineering Consultancy working on a wide variety of projects within railway infrastructure, buildings, temporary works, bridges and geotechnics.
You'll join a tight-knit team in a relaxed office, working with other offices and teams across different projects.
Key responsibilities for this Senior Civil Structural Engineer role:
- Working within a team of Engineers and Technicians, including metoring junior members.
- Designing civil and structural schemes and checking designs prepared by others, including producing detailed calculations by hand and through computer models.
- Carry out inspections, site surveys and assessments of structures and preparing reports.
- Take ownership of own projects across rail, civils, bridges and complex temporary works.
- Plan and manage project programmes, workload and resources.
- Liaising with clients to verify projects scope and ensure deliverables.
Key requirements for this Senior Civil Structural Engineer role:
- Relevant Civil or Structural Engineering degree.
- 4 - 10 years' experience within UK engineering industry.
- Experience within the Rail or Civils industry
- Strong technical knowledge within assessment and design including inspections, calculations and analysis of existing structures and new build design development.
- Full driving licence and own transport.
- Client focused approach with effective interpersonal and communication skills.
Package on offer for this Senior Civil Structural Engineer Role:
- Salary upto £50,000
- 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays and your birthday off.

- 40 hours per week. There is flexibility with start and finish times available however, the core working hours are Monday to Friday 9.30am to 4.30pm
