Key Responsibilities:
* Provide one-on-one or small group support for students with a range of special educational needs.
* Assist with the delivery of tailored learning plans to support individual student development.
* Support students in accessing the curriculum and developing key skills in communication, social interactions, and independence.
* Manage challenging behaviours in a calm and positive manner, fostering an inclusive environment.
* Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) to ensure that each student’s needs are being met effectively.
* Record and report on student progress, highlighting areas of improvement.
* Help with the physical care and wellbeing of students where needed (e.g., personal care, mobility support).
