About the Teaching Assistant Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping students achieve their full potential. Working closely with teachers and the wider SEN team, you will:
* Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality lessons.
* Lead small group interventions and booster sessions to help students grasp challenging concepts.
* Inspire and engage students, ensuring they meet their highest academic potential.
* Assist in planning and preparing classroom resources, including displays.
* Collaborate with therapists, specialists, and the SEN team to support individual student needs.
* Liaise with parents and carers to provide updates on student progress and well-being.
About the Successful Teaching Assistant:
* Education:A degree (2:1 or above) in a core or academic subject is highly desirable.
* Experience:A minimum of one year of experience working in an educational setting.
* Skills:Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
* Commitment:A passion for education and a desire to make a lasting impact on young people’s lives.
