Seeking a QHSE Manager to join a growing global company specialising in the design, manufacturing, and servicing of torque machines and bucking units. This is a full time, permanent position based just north of Aberdeen. The company provides a full-service including manufacturing or upgrading torque equipment from concept and design to installation and commissioning, as well as servicing, calibration, repair, maintenance, training, and consultancy. The QHSE Manager will…
1. Implement, develop, and communicate the company’s IMS Policies and procedures and motivate staff in all aspects of policy implementation.
2. Act as Management Representative.
3. Conduct internal audits.
4. Support operations and management.
5. Promote a QHSE culture within the company.
6. Implement and maintain the IMS systems relevant to the appropriate ISO/OSH standards.
7. Monitor business and QHSE annual goals and objectives.
8. Coordinate QHSE compliance within the company.
9. Develop continual improvement operational and QHSE standards at both sites.
10. Non-Conformance investigations, monitoring and tracking of corrective and preventative actions.
11. Provide advice and support to all staff in order to achieve and maintain the IMS objectives and standards.
12. Revise IMS procedures and guidelines and periodically review existing procedures as required.
13. Implement IMS strategies and initiatives.
14. Promote QHSE initiatives, improvements, developments and programs to all staff.
15. Develop and provide QHSE training programs to all staff including induction training.
16. Demonstrate through all daily activities a personal commitment to QHSE.
17. Review and publish QHSE documentation.
18. Control measuring equipment.
19. Check job files for completeness and quality assurance.
20. Carry out accident and incident investigations, ensuring corrective actions and risk prevention is robust.
21. Manage observation and suggestion reporting and take the appropriate actions.
22. Act as secretary of IMS Review Meetings and chairman of employee QHSE meetings.
23. Carry out any business and project tasks as directed by the Managing Director.
Applicants to this role require:
1. Previous experience in a similar role within an oil and gas service company is required.
2. Strong team orientation, self-starter, and highly motivated individual.
3. Practical, flexible and involved approach to providing QHSE support and services at all staff levels.
4. Extensive and detailed knowledge of QHSE practices, standards and general legislation and regulatory requirements.
5. Trained as internal auditor as a minimum.
6. Proven career success.
