We are looking for compassionate and committed Healthcare Assistants, who are passionate about delivering the highest quality one-to-one care for our service user.
Our service user is a happy young girl who lives with her loving family in Gateshead, she requires support with her complex care needs throughout the day and night.
She loves story time and exploring with her sensory lights and activities. She really enjoys arts, crafts, walks in the park, and attending hydrotherapy.
Throughout the day you will accompany her to her educational setting, supporting with her personal care, moving, and handling, and attending to her clinical care needs when required. You will engage with her learning, promote social interaction, and ensure her comfort throughout the day.
Throughout the night you will observe her clinical needs acting appropriately when needed, provide support with personal care, repositioning and provide a safe and peaceful environment to promote a restful nights sleep.
Main duties of the job
Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team
We have the following shifts available;
1. Full Time & Part Time Days
2. 8:00am - 8:00pm
3. Part Time Nights 2 shifts per week- 8:00pm - 8:00am
4. Alternate weekend availability is needed for this position

Weekdays: £ per hour (Approx. £180 per 12-hour shift)
Weeknights: £ per hour (£180 approx. per 12-hour shift)
Weekends: £ per hour (£180 approx. per 12-hour shift)
Bank Holiday: £ per hour (£ approx. per 12-hour shift)

Job responsibilities
The role of a Healthcare Assistant (HCA) is to work without direct supervision in the home of the service user providing care and support including personal, social, and domestic support whilst adhering to the service users individual care and support plan.
The aim of the position is to enable service users to remain safely in their own home with as much independence as possible.
Alongside providing care and support in a professional, discreet, and caring manner, always ensuring the service users right to privacy and dignity is maintained
