This role of Associate Director at proSapient is threefold, encompassing Client Relationship Development & Growth, Client Growth Strategy, Delivery Excellence & Resourcing.
As an Associate Director, you will be instrumental in driving the continued success and revenue growth of a strategic account in our large consulting client portfolio. You will ensure our delivery teams uphold the highest standards of excellence, optimise resourcing, and implement strategic course corrections to meet key performance metrics across the portfolio.
You will also take ownership of senior client stakeholder relationships - engaging with Managers, Directors, and Partners - to position proSapient as a trusted thought partner and strengthen our competitive advantage. Additionally, you will develop and execute a client growth strategy, identifying opportunities to expand our partnerships and maximise value for both our clients and the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Development & Growth
* Map out senior stakeholders (Managers/Directors/Partners etc) across the strategic account, starting with key European offices (UK, DACH, Nordics, France, Benelux). Map out the total addressable spend vs our footprint and exposure (projects received vs won revenue) by region, office, and practice.
* Own senior relationships (Managers/Directors/Partners etc), solidifying the partnerships via in-person/virtual meetings and ensuring repeat business.
* Expand our footprint and create new senior relationships, for example via introductions, referrals, or warm outreach, to bring in new business.
* Position proSapient as a trusted thought partner, driving client stickiness through value-driven engagements with clients. Strengthen our competitive positioning to become a Top 3 provider across our footprint within the account in Europe.
Client Growth Strategy
* Own the client growth strategies and create/continuously improve the account plans for the portfolio.
* Continuously gather intelligence from clients or via independent research on account health, client priorities/moves/new opportunities, macro market intel, and competitive intelligence. Leverage this intelligence for continuous client retention and growth. Where appropriate, collaborate and share intelligence with internal stakeholders to drive growth of overall business/other clients.
* Identify and execute on opportunities for service expansion, ensuring we stay ahead of client needs and competitive threats. As needed, collaborate with internal stakeholders to present business cases and ensure we capitalise on these opportunities.
* Analyse and leverage trends, competitive dynamics, and intelligence to advocate for best practices and continuous improvement in delivery and overall client proposition for our large consultancy portfolio.
Delivery Excellence & Resourcing
* Oversee delivery teams across London and Lisbon to ensure we maintain high standards of delivery excellence, matching the speed, quality, and volumes required to succeed with clients.
* Continuously review delivery metrics and KPIs and execute strategic course-corrections to ensure we meet the required standards across the portfolio. Proactively coach managers/PLs so that we deliver this highest value to our client and win the most revenue per project.
* Proactively review and optimise resourcing across our delivery teams to ensure we are staffed appropriately and able to scale to meet client demands and execute our growth plans.
Requirements
* Proven experience managing high-value consulting clients. Ideally, you bring with you an existing book of senior relationships you can tap into and leverage to grow our client exposure.
* Strong track record of meeting/overachieving client revenue targets and driving revenue growth over sustained periods of time
* Strong track record of driving delivery excellence in a fast-paced client services/sales environment, through thoughtful operational structures, resourcing plans, and course-correction strategies.
* Ability to manage and influence senior stakeholder relationships internally and externally.
* Great commercial acumen, problem-solving skills, adaptability, and strategic thinking to thrive in a dynamic, competitive environment.
