About the Role:
* The firm are seeking a Senior Planning Lawyer who is ambitious, driven, and forward-thinking to join their Environment and Planning team.
* The team are highly regarded in the Legal 500 operates across the South East and have some exciting growth plans
* This specialist team are known for handling high-quality, complex, and high-profile work.
* You'll be managing your own caseload of planning and environmental work as well as play an active part in the continued growth of the planning team, as well as manage more junior colleagues
* You will deliver high-quality planning advice to local planning authorities, housebuilders, and development clients.
Requirements:
* Experienced Planning Solicitor likely at the Senior Associate, Legal Director or Partner level l Minimum of 10 years PQE
* You must have experience in a regional, national, or City firm with well-developed knowledge in Planning, Environmental, and Compulsory Purchase law
* Experience in Planning, Environmental, Highways, CPO, and Public Access law is would be highly desirable although not essential, those who have had exposure to some of the above with the relevant background/experience will be considered.
* Management experience is essential to grow and supervise a team, along with the technical ability to manage a full caseload from initial instruction to post-completion.
* Proven track record in marketing and business development to win new clients and build strong long term client relationships
