SHEQ Manager - BilsthorpeTo monitor and continually improve compliance performance at 4 locations ensuring we exceed compliance requirements in all aspects of safety, environmental permit compliance, ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001, packaging waste, ESG and carbon accounting. Drive forward compliance and minimise risk to the environment, reputation, and safety.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with the senior team to develop strong SHEQ policies and set the standard for the division to achieve. Own a robust risk management program and implement it at all Enva Lubricants and Batteries UK locations. Develop, and continually improve method statements to ensure we exceed all compliance requirements. Conduct regular training needs analysis and deliver competent training to ensure our colleagues are informed and facilitated to maintain our high compliance standards.Maintain an internal audit schedule and conduct thorough audits to maintain and continually improve standards. Drive a positive safety culture that is pro-active in seeing, sorting, and reporting whilst learning from our mistakes and implementing improvements at pace. Contractor management including identification of critical contractors, onboarding, and on-site management. Manage and continually improve our ISO management systems. Maintenance of the divisions legal register for audit purposes and horizon planningManage the SHEQ co-ordinator to ensure data is accurate and effective for analysis and change. Be the technically competent source of knowledge for all aspects of SHEQ. Skills, Knowledge and ExpertiseRequiredNEBOSH General certificate. Extensive prior SHEQ management experience.Has worked with one or more of the ISO standards 9001, 14001 or 45001. Proactive and safety focused approach.An ability to drive/develop the department/business to be best standard in the company.Hands on and methodical, organised with attention to detail.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Positive and motivated with flexible and adaptable attitude.Highly organised with the ability to prioritise effectively and to plan and manage own agenda.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop effective and positive working relationships within and outside of the department.Highly focused on delivering results and objectives with a strong personal commitment to supporting the business in achieving its goals in a changing environment.Logical in approach with the ability to analyse data and formulate action plans.Good conflict resolution skills based on a ‘Can do’ attitude.Must demonstrate high levels of integrity and adopt a professional approach in all interactions – should be transparent, open, and honest in all dealings.
