There’s a permanent opportunity for you here as a Mobile Plumber to join our team on our NHS contract based in Hertfordshire.
Main Purpose of the Job
To undertake all planned and reactive maintenance across a number of NHS Healthcare facilities.
Main Responsibilities
1. Travelling to NHS sites throughout the Hertfordshire area
2. Carrying-out planned preventative maintenance to building services equipment
3. Completing allocated reactive tasks ensuring completion in an efficient way in both time and travel as instructed by the help-desk
4. Carrying out inspections, fault-finding and diagnosis
5. Completing the assigned work to the deadlines associated with the type of visit based on client SLA requirements
6. Completing job sheets electronically on a Tablet or Smartphone
7. Maintaining compliant records in log books, reporting any omissions or risks
8. Carrying out general maintenance, good housekeeping practices and plant room cleaning to ensure the life expectancy of all installed equipment is maximised
9. Undertaking a visual condition inspection of all installed equipment and submitting a written report of any items that appear to jeopardise reliability
10. Proactively working to reduce energy consumption on client sites and recommending improvements
11. Working to all health, safety, compliance and local policies and procedures
12. Maintaining excellent relationships with our customers – face to face, telephone and email
13. Liaising with Suppliers, Manufacturers or Dalkia staff in requesting guidance in the repair of specific equipment and/or the sourcing of spares and parts needed to complete assigned work
14. Completing the required administration on the day-to-day activities of the role and being punctual on their returns to the deadlines specified
15. Being smart and presentable whilst carrying out day-to-day working duties and wearing company issued uniform whilst at work
16. Carrying out any other reasonable requests as directed by either the help-desk or line management as required
Hours: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm

Experience
* Wide understanding of mechanical plant and equipment maintenance, with plumbing bias
* Level 2 City & Guilds Mechanical or Plumbing
* Healthcare building maintenance (HTM) experience desirable
