This role is key to ensure we are able to operate and utilise the South East Water Tankers. The role will be to drive the tankers, operate the tankers, check injection points, operate valves on the network, sample tankers, prepare contingency planning with Tanker lead / site operative and assist with reservoir work activity. The role will also comprise of assisting with the movement of pallets of water, SeaQuest and sludge works. Day/night Shift working pattern is required.
Working hours for the HGV Driver Operative is 42 hours per week, with a four on, four off pattern.

What will you be accountable for?
* To operate and drive South East Water tanker.
* To undertake network injection and operate valves on the network.
* To undertake defect reports and follow health and safety guidelines.
* To self-manage driving hours, breaks and rest times and liaise with the planning coordinator.
* To undertake emergency planning demos with internal and external key stakeholders.
* To deliver pallets of water, SeaQuest, sludge within South East water region.
* To support all areas of the business regarding planned/emergency works and reservoir cleaning programmes.
What do you bring to the role?
* Water Hygiene Qualification.
* Class 1 / 2 HGV license.
* Minimum of 1 year’s relevant experience required.
* Knowledge and understanding of water tankers.
* Self-motivated and organised.
* Understanding of the water sampling process.
* Water industry or emergency planning knowledge.
* Ability to load and unload.
