Job summary Job summary We are seeking a dedicated Practice Nurse to join our friendly team for a part-time position, requiring 3 to 4 days per week. Our Harpenden location is conveniently situated within walking distance of the town centre and train station, our branch surgery is in the centre of Wheathampstead with on-site parking available at both sites. As a member of our nursing team, you will work alongside 3 General Practice Nurses and 2 Healthcare Assistants. Main duties of the job We are seeking a qualified Practice Nurse to include performing cervical screenings, administer a comprehensive range of immunisations, including childhood vaccinations, providing wound care (including Level 1 leg ulcers), and fulfilling the complete spectrum of treatment room duties. We are a training practice and frequently host medical students and GP trainees. As part of the Harpenden Health Primary Care Network (PCN), we work collaboratively with other local practices and offer Extended Hours.
