Business Support Officer
Service type: Learning disability day support
Actual Salary: £18,032.61 (Full Time Equivalent £23,828.80)
Contract type: Permanent, Part-Time, 28 hours per week
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Business Support Officer to join our team at our Kings Lynn Community Hubs. The role involves a variety of activities, the holder is required to plan and manage the workload, prioritising tasks and ensure confidentiality is maintained. With a flexible working approach to provide support as required across different teams and sites.
The role requires the candidate to be computer literate and have experience in the use of Microsoft office. The candidate must also to be able to prioritise their own workload and travel across our Kings Lynn services in Kings Lynn, Downham Market and Tilney St Lawrence.
This role is subject to an appropriate level of DBS check and suitable references.
What does a Business Support Officer do?
As the first point of contact for enquires on the telephone, via email and in person, the role holder will need good community skills, alongside providing a range of administrative support to the management.
Some of the responsibilities of the role include:
* Maintain records and efficient filing systems
* Raise and check invoices/claims and prepare for authorisation and payment
* Populate and maintain spreadsheets and databases
* Complete of documents required to deliver and maintain statutory and non-statutory processes
* Preparing letters, using mail merge as require
* Support the management teams in ensuring data on the care monitoring system is up to date and accurate
* Monitor, collate and coordinate information and the production of reports
* Assist management in monitoring and checking budgetary records and reconcile bank statements, including administration of petty cash and other accounts
* Produce statistics and other management information
* Arrange, attend, minute meetings, compiling agendas and undertaking associated administrative work and follow up actions
* Monitor and maintain inventories of equipment, supplies and stock.
