Aldwickbury is an independent day and flexi-boarding school for boys located in 20 acres of grounds on the outskirts of Harpenden in Hertfordshire.

Who are we looking for?
The ideal candidate will have experience of working in the independent school sector, with an understanding of its compliance obligations.
The Head of HR and Compliance should have experience of working within a standalone role, where they have delivered against key strategic priorities whilst managing the day to day running of the HR function, including absence management, employee relations matters, recruitment, staff wellbeing and learning and development.
Experience of managing the Single Central Register (SCR) and co-ordination of compliance requirements in accordance with ISI regulation is essential to ensure that the school is fully compliant at all times is essential.

What will you be doing?
The focus of this role will be to deliver high quality, proactive support and guidance on a range of HR matters whilst implementing the schools’ policies and procedures relating to child protection and compliance.
