As our Nuclear Team in Warrington continues to grow, we are looking for dynamic Senior EC&I Technicians with a strong track record in regulated and quality-assured systems. This presents an excellent opportunity to advance your career with a leading industry player, offering a compelling and expanding portfolio of projects.
You will become an integral part of a diverse and exciting team, contributing significantly to project management and delivery. Working closely with AECOM's talented engineering team, you will provide expert leadership and technical oversight in nuclear structural engineering. Your role will be instrumental in ensuring the structural integrity, safety, and reliability of nuclear facilities and infrastructure. Here's what you'll do:
You will be responsible for the delivery of EC&I designs within the department, including the production of design documentation, AutoCAD designs, Revit modelling, Amtech calculations, as well as checking the work of other designers. Additionally, your responsibilities will include:
1. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated designs that meet project specifications and standards.
2. Ensuring compliance with all relevant industry regulations, standards, and codes in the design process.
3. Assisting with the preparation of project timelines and ensuring designs are delivered on schedule and within budget.
4. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry advancements, software tools, and best practices in EC&I design.

Qualifications
Ready to push the limits of what's possible?
Here's what we're looking for:
1. Qualified to a minimum of HNC level and preferably have a good relevant engineering degree.
2. Extensive relevant experience and be able to demonstrate sound technical knowledge.
Your previous experience will demonstrate competency in a number of the following areas:
General
1. Competent user of the current version of AutoCAD.
2. A sound understanding of drawing standards and best drawing practice.
3. Competent user of the current version of Revit.
4. Competent user of the current version of Amtech.
5. Competent user of the current version of DIALux.
6. Document and Drawing checking.
7. An appreciation of mechanical / civil and process systems and the aptitude work within a multi-disciplinary team.
Electrical
1. A working knowledge of BS7671.
2. Low Voltage Electrical Distribution Design.
3. Lighting design.
You will also be self-motivated with an ability to work both autonomously where required, with a strong sense of commitment, a willingness to learn and a desire to work in a dynamic deadline driven team environment.
