Working within the Mechanical CAD team you will be an integral part of the delivery of many projects by providing assistance in the following; Working on both Clean water and Wastewater treatment projects alongside an experienced Mechanical Draughtsperson to deliver clear, accurate and constructable 2D Mechanical Engineering drawings, participate and develop 3D models for construction and design reviews purposes, with H&S (Health & Safety) at the heart of what we do, producing clean and concise engineering sketches, attending insightful team meetings, providing scribing duties for safety review meetings and attendance of site visits. You will assist in the development of wide-ranging equipment libraries to ensure our work reaps the efficiency benefits of design re-use. You will learn how to become part of the wider engineering team by working alongside other disciplines to develop your knowledge and broaden your communication skills. Meaning a full UK driving licence would be preferred. • Strong communication skills – both written and verbal are essential, and you must be able to work well within a team and independently. • Strong work ethic - self-motivated, flexible and reliable with good problem-solving skills. You will also have a strong client service focus and excellent organisational skills with the ability to multi-task, managing both work and education commitments. • Excellent computer skills - a good understanding of Microsoft Office (essential) and basic knowledge of 3D Modelling software (preferred). • Curiosity - a natural curiosity regarding how things work and how they are fabricated or constructed is a highly desirable characteristic common to all high achieving engineers. • Have achieved or on track to achieve 5 GCSEs at grade 5 or higher including maths, English and science, or equivalent and/ or relevant experience. • Eligible to work in the UK Unfortunately, this role does not meet the minimum salary requirements for sponsorship on this role About Us MWH Treatment is an integrated design and build provider working in the water sector.
