The Role:
We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our development team to develop scalable, efficient and simple solutions.
You will use JavaScript, Golang and Ruby to develop innovative customer features as well as improving the underpinning platform and services, deploying through Terraform to AWS. We focus on doing things right so we’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work.
The Person:
* Strong software development experience.
* Experience working in JavaScript, Ruby or Golang (or demonstrated willingness to learn).
* Good working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS and Terraform preferred).
* A passion for web technology and digital products.
* Experience and understanding of the principles of agile development and clean coding, with an emphasis on testing, continuous delivery and technical excellence.
* Ability to diagnose and resolve bugs and performance issues.
* Self-motivating and able to continually learn and improve themselves.
* Can communicate well with peers to reach stretch goals for the team.
Details and Benefits:
* Salary: £70k - 85k depending on experience.
* The role is full-time, permanent, 40 hrs per week Monday–Friday.
* Work completely remotely, or use our Manchester office when you see fit.
