What is the opportunity?
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as an experienced Software Integration Engineer. This role is part of the Wealth Management Europe (WME) Technology & Solutions team and will provide third line support for internally developed software and assist with developing and maintaining APIs to facilitate communication between software applications.
What will you do?
* Analyse system requirements to understand integration needs and constraints.
* Support in the creation of new design and development specifications based on customer requirements, while adhering to standard procedures and techniques.
* Write code to implement integration solutions, ensuring compatibility and data consistency, reviewing, analysing, and modifying programming systems, applying coding and security best practices.
* Support with the implementation of application programs; fixing any existing or newly discovered bugs.
* Conduct thorough testing of integrated systems.
* Troubleshoot and debug integration problems to ensure smooth functionality.
* Create comprehensive documentation for integration processes, APIs and configurations.
* Manage software upgrades and updates to maintain compatibility and address any issues.
* Implement monitoring tools to track performance of integrated systems and proactively address any issues.
* Provide clear communication regarding progress on integration related activities, challenges and solutions to relevant stakeholders.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
* Experience in C# .NET / SQL and Biztalk development.
* Proven experience in Cloud computing, services and models (Azure, AWS, microservices).
* Development experience using C#.
* Strong written and verbal communications.
Nice-to-have
* Experience of working in a Wealth Management Financial service.
* Service Oriented and API architecture, design and development experience.
* Knowledge of code quality review tools, e.g. Sonaqube/cloud.
