Job Description
Glasgow Life is looking for a Finance Administrative Assistant to join us on a full time, 3-year fixed term contract until October 2027. As an administrative assistant, you will be joining our finance team to support the delivery of several in-demand projects that the Finance team will lead.
* ERP Project – Implementation of new finance/payroll system
* PCI Compliance
* Pay and Grading
* Retail system upgrade
* Implementation of IFRS16 Accounting Standard
* Revision of Group VAT return following entry into Museums VAT Refund Scheme
You will be part of a dedicated team which supports Corporate Services within Glasgow Life.

As a finance officer, you will be joining Corporate Services. This includes Marketing and Communications, Business Support, Infrastructure and Finance. The role:
The Admin Assistant role is a key member of Glasgow Life’s Finance team. The role provides project co-ordination and administration across our Financial Planning and Financial Operations team and works to deliver a flexible service across all areas of Glasgow Life Finance.
The candidate:
If you’re interested in joining us as an Administrative Assistant, you will need:
* Experience of preparing financial and administrative transactions
* Competent in maintaining spreadsheets and project plans.
* Attention to detail, together with excellent customer service and organisational skills.
* Ability to work flexibly to meet tight deadlines and deal with conflicting priorities.
