The service department is responsible for the service and maintenance of wind farms within the UK and Ireland. The department has an open and informal culture, where teamwork and good communication are the keys to our growth. You will have the opportunity to work in an exciting industry and a team of highly motivated employees. You will be part of a team working to the highest safety and environmental standards whilst ensuring that service targets are met. You will be responsible for safety procedures and display at service bases and tracking audits of all equipment - PAT testing, PPE, roller door, gas appliances etc.
Responsibilities
1. Inventory management - GR, stock transfers, availability of parts and tools, maintaining SAP data
2. Tools management - usage log (in /out), inspection, replacement, calibration, special tools, returns etc - single point of contact
3. NCR creating and follow up with supply chain for feedback/resolutions
4. Ordering consumables, stock maintenance of Wurth items and returning of unused, superfluous, expired and damaged materials
5. Preparation of parts / kits for planned work, including printing documentation, AWP's, etc, according to planned service orders
6. Using of all lifting equipment available at the service base, e.g. hand truck, forklift, hydraulic platform, etc, for movement of stock and loading/unloading of vans
7. Travel to other Vestas service bases within the England / Wales area to support as required to cover for staff shortages
Qualifications
8. Certificate of Reach / Counterbalance Forklift competency (Desirable)
9. IT Literate, email, Word & Excel (Essential)
10. Previous SAP experience would be advantageous, however full training will be provided
11. Knowledge of Dangerous Goods (Desirable)
12. Health & Safety accreditation, such as IOSH, etc (Desirable)
13. Previous experience in an engineering / service environment would be advantageous
14. Full UK driving licence B

18. Ability to prioritise workload to meet operational deadlines

20. Experience of Tools calibration (desirable - but training will be provided)
21. Ability to work alone in a remote service base once the service technicians have been dispatched to work
