We are recruiting a Group Resource Manager which is a newly created role within the Finance & Restructuring team, part of the Finance & Projects practice group. We are looking for someone to set up and implement a resource management function within the team. This is aimed at supporting partners and senior fee earners in the Finance and Restructuring team by identifying capacity and assisting with effective allocation of resource currently comprising around 122 lawyers across all 8 UK offices. Please note this is NOT a Recruitment role. This role will ideally be based out of either our London, Edinburgh or Manchester offices but can be based at any of our UK offices for the right candidate. Our standard working hours are 9.30am-5.30pm, however as an inclusive employer, we are willing to consider any flexible working requests. Candidate Overview We are looking for candidates who ideally hold the following skills and experience: Extensive experience in resource management or workforce planning, ideally in a professional service / partnership environment. Ability to establish and embed a resource management function with the team, including setting up new processes, educating on best practice and managing change. Proven experience resolving resourcing conflicts by being creative and innovative in the use of resource as well as identifying possible issues before they escalate. Excellent stakeholder managements skills, with the ability to influence and push back where needed, with senior members of the firm Highly IT literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially PowerPoint, Excel and a willingness to learn more.
