Job Description
The successful candidate will work within the Business Services accounting team, and will be integral in the preparation of management accounts, balance sheet control, financial forecasts and budgets along with business partnering the key Business Services stakeholders.
Responsibilities will include:
6. Preparation of the monthly management accounts, utilising the D365 financial accounting system
7. Updating forecasts based on stakeholder information and business understanding
8. Responsible for the preparation of budgets
9. Tracking variances to the latest forecasts and presenting and analysing findings in a clear and concise way
10. Preparation and review of Balance Sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules
11. Identifying areas of inefficiency in current processes, providing suggestions and working with the wider finance team to implement ‘best in class’ processes.
12. Building partnerships and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders across the business
13. Ad hoc analysis supporting the Business Service functions, assisting with contract renewals and investment appraisal decisions
14. Always working in accordance with our behavioural values
15. Adhering to SOx controls where applicable
16. Adhering to our accounting manual and working in accordance with relevant accounting standards
Qualifications
17. A professional Accountancy Qualification with evidence of up-to-date knowledge and experience (CIMA, ACA, or ACCA)
18. Experience within an international organisation is desirable.
19. Confident individual with good interpersonal skills
20. Analytically minded, able to break down and understand information
21. Ability to work to set deadlines delivering consistent and accurate information
22. Must be comfortable with working in a fast-moving, dynamic environment
23. Good organisational skills, used for managing and prioritising workload
