We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Accounts Assistant to join our team, reporting directly to the Financial Controller. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, capable of working on their own initiative, have excellent communications and organisational skills and work well as part of a team. This is a great role for an accounts assistant to join a tech business as they are growing their finance department. Description Responsible for purchasing systems, ensuring they run smoothly and that parents/students provide payments in a timely manner Responsible for internal purchasing process and that the process is respected Helps Finance Manager prepare monies for student outings and trips Ensures staff provide receipts for company expenses Liaise with other departments/suppliers on discrepancies & issues Assist with year-end, supporting documentation for Audit, including liaising with head office Handling supplier queries and parents queries Follow up with families for payments Work closely with Finance and Business managers and support them with tasks they may delegate Profile Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel (may be tested as part of interview) Ability to work to tight deadlines in a pressured environment While it sounds cliché, excellent communications skills and attention to detail are essential Experience in client-facing environment Job Offer Permanent full time role 37.5 hour working week AAT study support Exposure to full AP, AR, cash flow and reports 24 days holidays plus BH Free car parking on site
