We’re on the lookout for a dedicated Administrator to support both Home Instead West Exeter & Teignbridge and Home Instead South Devon. This is a 12-month contract, with the potential to become a permanent role based on review. Job Description
What You’ll Be Doing
This is a varied and rewarding role, working closely with our Office Manager and wider team to ensure the smooth running of the business. Key responsibilities include:
✅ Finance and invoicing – managing invoices, handling bill payer queries, debt management, and reconciliation.
✅ IT and systems administration – supporting with Excel, invoicing systems, and other online platforms.
✅ Compliance and auditing – assisting with maintaining high standards and ensuring processes are up to date.
✅ General office administration – dealing with phone enquiries, managing records, and supporting business change initiatives.
✅ Event and community support – working with the team to identify opportunities to promote Home Instead in the local area.
✅ Purchasing and stock management – placing orders with approved suppliers to maintain appropriate stock levels.
✅ Occasional care support – covering emergency care calls when required (training provided).
✅ On-call support – after training, taking part in the on-call rota.
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For
We need someone who is:
Highly organised – able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Confident with IT – experienced in Microsoft Office, Excel, and invoicing systems.
A strong communicator – excellent written and verbal skills.
Reliable and professional – committed to high standards and a positive attitude.
A team player – friendly, supportive, and always willing to help.
A driver with access to a car – as occasional travel may be required.
