This role is heavily administrative-based, requiring the successful candidate to effectively and efficiently deal with day-to-day enquiries, updating systems and taking payments for bookings alongside providing an outstanding customer experience reflecting brand and company standards. Key responsibilities of our Groups Conference and Events Executive:
1. Ensuring all charges are raised and paid for following established procedures
2. Upselling bedroom types & other hotel services at every opportunity, ensuring accuracy of details on all reservations
3. To accept, process & manage Group reservations to ensure maximum revenue and occupancy
4. To be the main point of contact for Groups between Hotel and The Client
5. Developing and maintain good working relationships with all colleagues & clients
6. Dealing with any guest feedback or requests in a professional and efficient way
This position is a full-time role with a general Monday-Friday working pattern but may also require occasional evening/weekend work as required by our clients (for appointments, show rounds, etc.)
To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:
1. Previous experience of PMS i.e. Opera
2. Organisational skills based around administration
3. Excellent time management and communication skills
4. A positive and approachable attitude with a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service
5. Ability to work on your own and as part of a team
6. Fluent English both verbally and written
