Operations Manager - England Job Description
The successful Operations Manager will be responsible for all aspects of catering operations, including planning, logistics, execution, and will require proven outstanding client relationship management. This is a high-pressure role that requires excellent communication and organisational skills, as well as a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Maximise performance of the team through positive and effective leadership, combined with support and coaching.
2. Form and maintain a culture where individual and team development is encouraged, with service standards constantly reviewed and improved upon.
3. Achieve and improve all financial targets.
4. Ensure all company and legislative Health & Safety requirements are achieved.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, confident communicator with senior management and at board level.
6. Excellent commercial and strategic acumen, able to identify new opportunities and develop strategies for maximising them.
7. Deliver an excellent food offering which is continuously reviewed and challenged to meet customer expectations.

4. Excellent Health & Safety knowledge.
5. Financially astute with strong IT literacy.
6. Innovative, creative, and driven by excellence.
7. Stay up to date with current food trends.
8. Possess great organisation skills, exceptional communication skills, and a proactive attitude.
9. Excellent understanding of report writing and financial management.
10. Successful progressive background in catering, hospitality, or retail at the relevant level.
11. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to devise and implement strategies to benefit both the company and the client.
