An opportunity has arisen within the Training and Workforce Development Team to support the Inter-agency Training Coordinator deliver a comprehensive learning and development programme for our multi-agency Children and Adult services workforce.
This programme has been developed in response to a large-scale training needs analysis. We are keen to attract applications from experienced individuals who have supported the delivery of learning and development, and from trainers with experience of working within Children and Families services.
This post is suitable for secondment if supported by current employer.
The Promise Scotland places the need for workforce development, immersed in reflective practice, to be “at the heart of service planning”. Falkirk Community Planning Partnership recognise the need for sustained investment in well-resourced and coordinated inter-agency workforce development. This supports our ambitions to be a learning organisation.
Investment helps prepare the workforce to meet current and future demands arising from new and updated legislation, policy, guidance and findings from national and local Learning Reviews. It also ensures there is capacity to work collaboratively with people with lived experience in the design and delivery of training, learning and development to provide authentic learning.

Applicants should hold a professional qualification at SCQF level 9 (degree level) in Social Work, Education, Nursing or equivalent, or equivalent level of knowledge, skills and experience. (Link to Qualifications can Cross Boundaries)
If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to carry out a Disclosure Scotland check.
