Your purpose will be:
You are an ambassador for exceptional service that is the hallmark of our Savoy bar experience. Your warm, personal attention and passion for mixology is worth raising a glass to.
You will be accountable for:
1. Delivering a memorable and professional 5 star beverage experience
2. Advising guests through enthusiastically sharing your knowledge about our F&B offering
3. Delivering on all standards, policies and procedures to create memorable luxury guest experiences
Your key responsibilities & contribution will be:
1. Delivering an extraordinary service experience to the highest industry standards with a distinctive personal touch as one team in the bar and on the floor
2. Mixing drinks in a timely manner and based on our standardised recipes and service standards
3. Assisting guests regarding menu choices in an informative and enthusiastic way
4. Boosting our revenue through upselling and other creative initiatives
5. Being part of the creative process of our beverage menus across the hotel
6. Having a good knowledge of mixology and contributing your ideas to creating new and relevant recipes
7. Sharing knowledge of mixology, our offering, promotions, general hotel information and Savoy stories
8. Following all safety and sanitation and COVID policies when handling food and beverage

Salary: £38,172 (including service charge)
What you will need to do this role:
Essential:
1. 1-2 years bartending experience in a luxury environment
2. Passion for and understanding of 5 star hospitality and what it takes to deliver it
3. Empathetic with a talent for building rapport, and reading each guest’s desired level of interaction
4. Quick thinking, resourceful and able to solve problems ’in the moment’
5. Able to remain calm and courteous at all times
6. Able to work well under pressure in a fast paced and changing environment
7. Able to work collaboratively as part of a team
8. Willing to work in rotating shifts including weekends and public holidays
9. Good knowledge of spoken and written English
10. Rights to work in the UK
Desirable:
1. Basic knowledge with a POS System
2. Basic knowledge with Open table
3. Industry related certifications (i.e. WSET)
