St Teresa of Calcutta Academy Trust Central Team are currently seeking to employ two finance assistants. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Trust at the beginning of a journey of transition, development, and growth within the multi-academy trust.
We are looking for two experienced finance assistants, who can work with the trust finance business partners and the head of finance business partners with the smooth running of the Central finance function, ensuring that all financial data is processed correctly and accurately.
They will also assist the schools in the trust with finance support and advice, remotely from the head office and in the schools themselves, when needed.
The finance assistants must be highly motivated and organised individuals, who will be able to work well under pressure and to be able to complete basic and complex financial tasks accurately and promptly.

We are seeking an individual who:
* Has finance assistant and purchase ledger experience
* Must have a good level of Microsoft Office knowledge, particularly Excel skills (data analysis / pivot tables for example)
* Be highly organised, with the ability to manage several email inboxes
* Has experience of PSF financials
* Ideally has experience of working in an education setting, with an understanding of funding within education
* Has a flexible approach to work and is willing to pick up new tasks as and when required
* Follows financial processes and policies
* Has experience of supporting colleagues during the financial year-end audit
* Has the skills and experience to complete financial reconciliations
* Ideally is a part qualified accountant (AAT, CIMA, ACCA), or has a willingness to work towards
