Flexible - Full-time or Part-time An expanding, entrepreneurial team based in Preston is looking for a hands-on Assistant Accountant to take control of their day-to-day accounting needs. Up until now, the accounts have been managed externally, but with the right processes now in place, they’re ready to bring this function in-house. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a flexible environment, with hours that can be tailored to suit either a full-time or part-time schedule. Responsibilities: Take ownership of nominal coding, VAT returns, and bank reconciliations. Assist with management accounts, providing key financial insights. Oversee general bookkeeping tasks, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. What They’re Looking For: AAT Level 4 qualified, with solid experience in Xero. Confident working autonomously, with a proactive, problem-solving mindset. Strong grasp of accounting principles, VAT, and general bookkeeping. Why Join?
