The Role…
We have an exciting and brand-new opportunity for a qualified CDM Designer / Principal Designer, to join us, as we embark on the AMP8 five-year investment cycle with Anglian Water.
This is a unique chance to be involved in one of the UK's largest main-laying programmes.
You will be responsible for Mains Renewal, overseeing the design and engineering of capital mains renewal schemes, focusing on trenchless and no-dig techniques, including insitu-structural liners.
You’ll ensure projects are delivered safely, on budget and within agreed timescales.
Here are some of the activities that you’ll get involved in…
* Actively participate in the governance processes for design schemes, ensuring effective collaboration and appropriate involvement in scheme overview/design packs before approval.
* Plan and manage the risk and value root cause analysis for each solution design request, ensuring thorough analysis of business needs.
* Conduct site visits to perform surveys, verify proposed solutions, identify equipment requirements, and hold site meetings with external stakeholders or support Delivery Team site checks.
* Liaise with customers, addressing and resolving issues and ensuring communication aligns with the defined delivery process.
* Maximise benefits within planned works by considering broader TOTEX opportunities in all solutions.
* Manage project budgets and targets for each scheme.
We would love to hear from you, if you can demonstrate…
That you are an experienced CDM qualified designer / principal designer.
You will also need to be SMSTS and NRSWA Supervisor qualified with proven engineering and design experience in water mains renewal.
A detailed understanding and experience of the ROV process particularly Root Cause Analysis.
