Lift Engineer required with NVQ3 for East London & Hackney Route.
We designed the engineers' routes over the last 3 trading years into manageable engineer routes. Due to the London speed limit reduction and other traffic management measures restricting field-based activities, we are ready to drop the route numbers into control. The daily expectations for our engineers include an average of 3.5 lift visits a day, along with callouts and repairs, resulting in approximately 900 visits per calendar year. We are now working on a solution to control more reactive site repairs, adjusting the lift visits to include this newly formed routed engineer to be 25% repairs and 75% service/callout. This balance allows engineers to maintain routes in good condition without compromising the expected service levels.
Our company repair team and technicians operate daily within our London/local county client base, conducting support works, repairs, callouts, and technical consultant reports for one of the largest UK food stores, which has been a client for 18 years.
The successful candidate will need to have experience working with all types of lifts and controller manufacturers, as well as the ability to think critically and creatively. A qualification of NVQ3 as a minimum is required from all applicants.

Night call rota is expected as part of any field-based engineer role. It is paid on top of the salary and has a standby element, with payment per callout. Successful candidates will receive the rota upfront, typically plotted 1-2 months in advance, and are expected to swap cover with colleagues as needed.
