Regional Sales Manager - USA
Our firmly established UK based design and manufacturing client of specialist acoustics equipment and speakers is seeking a further experienced Regional Sales Manager to continue their development of the US and North American territory. This role is flexible on location.
Supporting the continued growth in this existing territory, this position is to manage existing customer and dealership relationships as well as strategically grow this territory.
Working from an existing home-based position (paid and employed through the US) in this territory and travelling as required, the Regional Sales Manager will focus on:
1. Building long term and productive relationships with existing and future customer/dealership base in the allocated region
2. Compile and execute strategic account plans as well as provide a professional approach to territory management
3. Challenge buying habits and make profitable enhancement decisions with existing clients
4. Deliver on agreed sales targets for the allocated region
5. Secure growth of the business within the allocated region and gain share from the competition
6. Where required, deliver sales presentations of current product lines to new and existing customer base within region
7. Support customers with their product knowledge and overall system design
8. Support customers with their sales process for large projects where our clients' products are used
9. Prospect for new high potential customer/projects in the region
10. Build a portfolio of opportunities and convert to sales in collaboration with customer
11. Use marketing assets and activities to support this business development
12. Support trade shows and other opportunity generating activities
13. Work alongside existing employees/market activities
Key Requirements
1. Be an articulate communicator, with ability to inspire and motivate
2. Be an enthusiastic team player willing to contribute to departmental goals
3. Be an influencer and skilled in negotiation and closing business
4. Have excellent time management skills to allow achievement of targets and goals
5. Already have suitable national passports/visa status for the region
6. Have management experience, including an ability to manage multiple projects and achieve sales quotas
7. Complete competitor research and generate market trend analysis
8. Have the ability to show customers and other client stakeholders the company's value proposition as well as discuss products and technical opportunities
9. Be qualified to degree level or equivalent
10. Where possible, have an understanding of professional audio systems
