This Employment Law HR/ER advisoryand training firm has just had an influx of investment and isanticipating significant growth which means massive careeropportunities and the chance to make yourmark.
We are looking for an EmploymentLawyer up to 8 PQE to join a busy team with a significant emphasison Employment Tribunal litigation and to help to support theexpansion of the team and development of the Employment and HRpractice.
You will get to be the lead clientcontact on most of your case load and will have multiple files andmultiple client relationships with businesses of varying sizes. Thework is varied and interesting no two days will be thesame.
You have the freedom to workindependently with the support of Senior Employment Lawyers whereyou need it.
There will also be an opportunity toprovide support and guidance to more junior members of theEmployment Law team and HR consultants andadvisers.
You will be responsible for advisingclients on all aspects of employment law in connection such as dayto day employment advice and contentious matters such as EmploymentTribunal claims.
Requirements
Theideal candidate(s) would have experience of most of thefollowing:
* Employment Tribunallitigation including drafting and responding to claims witnessstatements and advocacy (at the preliminary hearing stage at aminimum)
* Giving day to day employment and HR advice bytelephone and in writing to managers HR and senior executives/Boardlevel
* Drafting contracts policies and otheremployment related documentation
* Advising on disciplinary and grievancematters and conductinginvestigations
* Conducting negotiations and draftingsettlement agreements
* Experience of conducting training for clientsand supervising more junior fee earners would also be beneficial aswould a strong focus on building client relationships and businessdevelopment.
