Proposal Manager Job Description Summary Preparation of schedules & budgets for installation and commissioning of onshore wind turbines. Serve as internal support function to Sales and Commercial Operations. Negotiation and compliance with contract commitments and commercial risk assessment. Jobs at this level operate with some autonomy but are covered by well-defined Commercial policies or review of end results. The job allows modification of procedures and practices covering work as long as the end results meet standards of acceptability (typically annual volume, margin and compliance requirements). Responsible for medium-sized sales territories. Proposal Manager Roles and Responsibilities Lead preparation of C&I quoting for standard and extended scope projects for onshore wind projects in UK Review of invitations to tenders and specifications to determine customer requirements impacting C&I quoting Prepare project execution (project management activities, installation, commissioning, civil and electrical balance of plant) budgets and scope of work description for onshore wind projects Negotiate customer contract conditions for C&I related scope Prepare customer facing technical specifications related to C&I scope Lead the identification, evaluation and qualification of prospective sub-contractors in case of extended scope Negotiate technical and commercial terms and DOR with subcontracts Lead preparation of installation programs in coordination with other functions (Logistics, SAPT, etc) Work closely with other functions such as Sales and Commercial Operations Proposal Manager Required Qualifications Solid experience required in power projects in the following areas: Project/Contract Management/Construction Management/Tendering/Cost Estimation Master or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business Proficient in Excel and experience using reporting tools & commercial platforms (Salesforce, various analytics tools). Ability & willingness to travel occasionally.
