The gastroenterology department is friendly, inclusive and supportive. We have developed innovative ways of working, utilising the skills and enthusiasm of the multidisciplinary team as well as collaborations with primary care, in order to provide a high standard of care to our population. We have some of the lowest waiting times for outpatient review in the region, and have embraced digital healthcare to ensure we have robust systems in place for tracking and monitoring our patients. We are a forward-thinking department who is keen to consider new ways of working to best meet the needs of our population and we are looking for candidates who are enthusiastic and keen to help develop the department further. The appointee would be expected to work well in a multidisciplinary environment, and to be able to communicate effectively with all members of the team.
