Factoring Assistant

We are looking for a Factoring Assistant to join our team, with a view to be based at the Toryglen office, Glasgow. As a Factoring Assistant you will be part of a small factoring team who work both remotely and in the office. You will provide a front line service to the factored owners we provide a service to across Scotland. This includes the billing and tracking of communal repairs.
The role of Factoring Assistant will include:
- Billing, collating information and debt recovery of factoring debts
- Liaising, consulting and responding to residents to ensure involvement activities are accessible and meet customer expectations
- Focusing on first contact resolution for all service area complaints and identifying opportunities to further improve customer experience
- Supporting the management and maintenance of relationships with key stakeholders, identifying any shortfalls in service delivery and ensuring they are dealt with appropriately
- Delivering, improving and maintaining effective and efficient administrative processes to ensure provision of services in line with customer needs
- Working with various internal teams including housing management, maintenance and compliance
Skills and experiences:
- Working knowledge of delivering high quality factoring services or similar is desirable
- Excellent customer service skills and good communication is essential
- Proven experience of working to deadlines and prioritising work loads
- Some experience analysing and diagnosing problems and implementing effective solutions
- Experience of using Microsoft packages (Word, Excel and Outlook), or similar
- Occasional travel may be requirement of the role, therefore a full valid driving licence is desirable
